My Jail Cell Tools
Checklists, not calculators. Use them before dusk, not while a patrol is on the bars.
My Jail Cell punishes messy days more than weak aim. You do not need a DPS spreadsheet. You need a repeatable daylight route and a night ritual that still works when you are tired. This hub points at two practical tools: the night checklist and the daytime route. Print them in your head. Then go steal furniture.
Why a wiki tool beats a random YouTube HUD
Creator videos are great for seeing the mall and the tall patrol. They are bad at reminding you to eat. The getting started guide is a story. These tools are a punch list you can rerun every cycle:
- Daytime route = mall → cafeteria → Cell Depot → pet store → place → hide corner.
- Night checklist = door, food, weapon, sound, sightline, no peek.
If you only open one, open the night list. Most deaths are “one more couch” at orange light, not a missing neon sign.
How to use them with the rest of the wiki
- First session: getting started + controls.
- Every morning: daytime route with the furniture tier list in another tab.
- Last two minutes of light: night checklist and survive the night.
- After a patch: updates hub then rerun both tools once, because a new depot aisle or hunger tick can wreck muscle memory.
There is no official coziness calculator. Room gates we have from footage (about 25 coziness for an early unlock, later rooms in the 70s) live on how to unlock rooms. Add the numbers from item prompts yourself. If a piece says +9 and you need 25, you are three beanbags away, not one luxury bed and a prayer.
What these tools are not
They are not scripts. They will not spawn cash. They will not X-ray the hallway — that is a game pass. They will not redeem codes. If you wanted an executor, that is the scripts hub, with the safety page attached.
They are also not a substitute for 9-player awareness. Other inmates can block doors, steal a cart, or make noise. The players hub (pets and VIP neighbors) explains how a full lobby changes both tools. In a quiet server you can mall-loop twice. In a full server you mall once, eat, hide.
Update the mental version
When Cell Depot grew to 50+ lamps, the daytime route gained a third pin. When save slots arrived, the night checklist gained “confirm you loaded the bunker slot.” When a code panel appeared under B, we still did not add “redeem codes at 3am” to the night list. Redeem at dawn. Hide at dusk.
Use the two child pages as living SOPs. If you invent a better order — pets first because the store is on the way to the mall — keep it, but do not skip food. Hunger does not care about your interior design.
Pair this hub with daily rewards so a two-minute login still claims the streak. Then run the route if you have daylight left. That is the whole “tool” philosophy for this game: small repeats, sealed rooms, morning.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common My Jail Cell questions.
Is there a coziness calculator?
No official one. Read the coziness number on each piece and compare it to the next room gate on the unlock rooms guide.
Which tool should I open first?
Night checklist if the sky is already turning. Daytime route if you just spawned and the mall is still safe.
Do these tools work on mobile?
Yes. The order does not change. Controls differ — see the controls guide — but mall, food, hide is the same.
Should I redeem codes during the night checklist?
No. Press B in the morning. Standing in a hallway with the CODES! UI open is how people get caught.
